Who We Are
At the heart of every smooth Zoom meeting, every well-timed tech tip, and every “How do I…” guide is a team dedicated to making technology work for everyone; we’re the Staff IT Trainers, Philip and Gabriela, and our role is all about empowering our Ko Taku Reo colleagues to use digital tools with confidence and ease.

What We Do
Training That Actually Helps
We work closely with both support staff and teaching teams, delivering training on the apps and platforms that keep our organisation running. Whether it’s introducing a new feature in Microsoft Teams, demonstrating the tools that help with remote lessons, or demystifying the latest updates in our learning management system, we’re here to make tech accessible and useful for all staff.

Always-Available Resources
But our work doesn’t stop at training! We also create clear, user-friendly “How do I” guides that serve as quick references for common tasks - perfect for those moments when staff need a refresher or want to learn something new at their own pace.

Behind-the-Scenes Support
When it comes to big events like Prize Giving or all-staff Zoom meetings, we’re behind the scenes making sure everything runs smoothly. From setting up remote links and troubleshooting audio issues on the fly, to making sure that Signers and Interpreters are clearly visible, we provide the technical support that helps showcase the amazing achievements of ākonga.
