The draft framework for teaching Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) is now available for public feedback. It outlines proposed RSE teaching for each year from Years 0 to 13, aiming to ensure content is age-appropriate, evidence-informed, internationally comparable, and clearly structured. The Ministry is seeking community input to help refine the framework, which will be part of the new health and physical education curriculum, available in 2026 and mandatory from 2027.
