If you are listed on the Electoral Roll for the Ko Taku Reo - Deaf Education New Zealand Parent Board Election and this include the opportunity to nominate yourself or someone else to stand as a candidate for the election. Nominations are open for the election of 6 parent representatives to the Ko Taku Reo - Deaf Education New Zealand School Board.

The nomination process for our School Board elections has started, and nominations are now open. We have six spaces for parent representatives on the Ko Taku Reo School Board. We have appointed Schooled Election Pilot as the Returning Officer for the election. They will be handling the election process, and you will see communications directly from them.

From consultation with you and stakeholders back in 2017, we set ourselves the bold, and what I believe to be the right, decision of becoming one nationwide organisation. This was driven by principles of equity, accessibility, responsiveness, and best practice and we never lost sight of this. We now have a responsive organisational structure that will enable these goals to be actualised.
