Further to our update on 18 August regarding parent nominations to the Board, both Grace Covey and Helen Johnson have withdrawn their nominations.

This means we have no parent nominations for the Board of Ko Taku Reo – Deaf Education New Zealand so we are continuing to work with the NZSTA (New Zealand School Trustees Association) and the Ministry of Education to identify the best way forward for governance of the school.

Be assured that the current board is still in place until further notice and we appreciate your support as we work through this process.

We will update you as soon as we have anything further to announce.
