We are delighted to share the inspiring cultural exchange initiative embarked upon by our dedicated students. Our students have had the incredible opportunity to expand their perspectives through meaningful interactions with peers from a Deaf school in Japan.

This week, our Tū Kōkiri students are excited to share the beauty of New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL). Kaylee and Brooklyn will lead sessions introducing fundamental aspects of NZSL, including greetings, expressing emotions, and mastering the alphabet. These foundational skills will empower our Japanese counterparts to engage in conversations using NZSL, nurturing deeper connections and mutual understanding.
