Out and about

• Our Senior Leaders travelled to Adelaide to visit Deaf education provisions, preschools and the Statewide Inclusive Education Services, sharing practice, gathering ideas and making meaningful connections with others working in Deaf education. While in Adelaide, they observed teaching in preschools, primary and secondary Deaf classrooms.

• Enrolled School National Hui for Primary and Secondary School took place, a chance to connect and share with learners from across the motu.

Behind the scenes

• The Deaf Leadership PLD group held its final session for the term. We look forward to getting back into it in Week 1.

Partnership and advocacy

• Our visits to Deaf education providers in Adelaide strengthened relationships across the sector and opened up opportunities to collaborate and learn from one another.
